When Radovan Toman was appointed General Manager of Teva Czech Industries in Opava on July 1, 2024, it marked a significant return to a facility he had played a crucial role in developing. Toman's journey with Teva began in 2009 as the Maintenance Manager during the construction of the Opava manufacturing site. Over the years, he has risen through the ranks, taking on key leadership positions that have equipped him with extensive operational knowledge and experience.
His career progression within Teva has seen him serve as Engineering Director and Head of Solid Dosage Manufacturing, allowing him to refine his expertise in one of the company's largest production facilities. Toman's return to Opava is not just a homecoming; it is an opportunity for him to implement his vision for the site's future.
Global Experience and Leadership
Toman's international exposure has significantly influenced his leadership approach. In 2021, he took on the role of Interim General Manager at Teva's Goa site in India, where he played a pivotal role in stabilizing operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. Following his tenure in India, Toman spent three years as General Manager of Teva's facility in Debrecen, Hungary.
