My first job was with CSA Marketing Sdn Bhd as a Sales Executive, securing accounts for customers purchasing custom metalwork (Alloy Custom Designs). 1 year and 8 months. After that, I received an offer from a company called SEE HOY CHAN as a Sales Manager. They brought me on board to open their first office in Singapore and get their sales department going there. I was employed by this company for 1 year and was directly based in Singapore to oversee all sales and marketing activities. The following year, 2016, I decided to return to Malaysia and started my own first business. It was a convenience store in AEON Big Shopping Mall Subang Jaya; within 6-8 months, I had 3 stores. After 1 year, I managed to sell my stores to a venture capital company who was interested in this business module. As a result, in 2017, following my passion, I decided to open a new business in the luxury car rental industry. At the same time, the company began distributing spirits and alcoholic beverages in the Klang Valley and is still in business today (2022). During the pandemic (COVID -19) my luxury car rental business was greatly affected as there was a total lockdown and netizens could not drive more than a 10KM radius. At that time, there was an upswing in my liquor business and a new start in the online ordering and delivery business in Malaysia. Fortunately, we were able to move forward and expand the online sales of spirits and beverages. I then joined forces with my uncle Thomas and his partners, Philip and Palani, in their logistics and courier business. This approach led to the rise of the company that is now known as JOMKIRIM SDN BHD and has 4 directors to date. We have 10 branches nationwide to date and provide (PUDO)- pickup & drop-off service for local and international courier services. What has made us a brand second to none is the essence of its fundamentals - the only company offering direct local same day delivery, cold box delivery, e-commerce fulfilment, ocean and air freight services in a single courier centre. We have been in this business for 3 year and there are endless possibilities we can achieve. We look forward to the many years to come.
