Fiona had been working in Singapore for 10 years as a beautician for the high exchange rate until one day she had attended a direct sales seminar. She recalled there was one sentence that struck her which she decided to quit her job and return to Malaysia, “You are only witnessing the growth in length of your child but not the height”. That strengthen the resolve that she did not want to miss any more moments of her children’s growth and she wanted to live a quality life. Returning back to Malaysia, Fiona was lost and his spouse Patrick had advised her to join the insurance industry. She decided to give it a go but with minimal understanding of the field, zero knowledge of computer skills, language ineloquence and her shy personality, it was a huge challenge to her. However, with much perseverance and the attitude of an avid learner, she had learned the fundamental computer skills such as excel sheets, power points and other necessary programs. Looking back, although starting a new career was tough but being able to overcome all the challenges mentioned was the turning point of her life. She is now an outstanding Senior Agent and an excellent performer to become the 1st COT in Axa Affin 2020
