Born in Palembang, Indonesia, on 13 June 1961, Husin Suhaidi is an accomplished business leader whose career bridges two distinct worlds: technology and hospitality. He currently serves as the President Director of PT Perkom Indah Murni, one of Indonesia’s pioneering IT companies with nearly four decades of excellence. Under his leadership, Perkom has evolved into a strategic digital solutions provider within the MidPlaza Holding Group, offering services in data centres, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. In 2000, he played a pivotal role in Perkom’s early investment in Biznet Networks, now a leading digital infrastructure company powering Indonesia’s internet backbone. Husin began his career at Perkom in 1985 as a Marketing Representative, progressing through key leadership roles before being appointed Director within a decade, a testament to his perseverance, strategic thinking, and innovative mindset. Beyond technology, Husin has also made significant contributions to Indonesia’s hospitality sector. Since 2010, he has served as Director of PT Prima Adhitama International Development, the owning company of AYANA Midplaza Jakarta Hotel and The Plaza Residences, two flagship properties under MidPlaza Holding. In this capacity, he provides strategic direction and governance oversight to one of Jakarta’s premier five-star hospitality destinations. Recognised for his humility and emotional intelligence, he leads with integrity and care, valuing relationships as deeply as results.
Husin remains actively engaged in fostering professional and cultural exchange between Indonesia and Canada.
Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia, English, and Mandarin, Husin blends global insight with local wisdom. His leadership philosophy centres on lifelong learning, balance, and empathy, principles that guide his approach to both business and life.
